Pets at Home: Where pets come first

450 superstores. The UK's largest pet retailer. A website that wasn't doing it justice.

The existing site was dated, slow and inconsistent. Long load times were causing drop-offs, conversion rates were suffering, and key sections like eCommerce, account pages and information hubs lacked the coherence the brand deserved. Something had to change.

The redesign was built in two-week sprints to keep stakeholders aligned and the project moving.
A component-led approach meant every element was designed to work together, ensuring consistency across every page and a seamless experience on mobile. The new site mirrors the friendly, caring atmosphere that Pets at Home customers experience in store, and was delivered to AA accessibility standards throughout.
