A natural way of life

Problem: Pets at Home arranged a promotional feature space within Pets at Home to support the Wainwright’s brand (own label). Wainwright’s will have a 25% offer running during the feature space period.

Solution: Two routes were presented to the client, one was illustrative and the second was photographic with supporting typographic elements.

A photoshoot ensured a body of images were generated, with multiple dogs, all shot on location over a two day period. Due to shot location, and the nature of the surroundings, very little retouching was needed. The hero shot was to be rolled out as part of the suite of work spanning email, social channels, online banners, instore POS, newsprint, billboards and more.

The Wainwrights brand had little of a visual identity so took inspiration from existing packaging design. The logo, brand colours and type was the starting point.
